Cape Town, mark your calendars! The Silo Concerts continue at the V&A Waterfront’s Silo District, turning the city’s favourite urban square into a stage under the stars. These free, open-air concerts bring people together for unforgettable evenings of live music, community spirit, and that unique V&A magic.
The second concert of the series takes place on Friday, 5 December 2025, right in front of the Zeitz MOCAA Museum, starting at 7 PM. Bring your friends, grab your spot, and soak in the music.
Headlining the night is none other than Ami Faku, one of South Africa’s most powerful and soulful voices. Born in Ezinyoka, Port Elizabeth, Ami’s journey began in her church choir before she broke into the spotlight on The Voice SA. Since then, she has released chart-topping hits like Ubuhle, Into Ingawe, Love Drunk, and Ndikhethe Wena. Her debut album Imali became a runaway success, and she went on to win Female Artist of the Year at the 2020 South African Music Awards.
With heartfelt lyrics, unforgettable melodies, and a voice that speaks straight to the soul, Ami Faku promises to deliver a night to remember at the Silo District.
Whether it’s your first Silo Concert or you’re coming back for more, this is your chance to experience one of South Africa’s brightest stars live, for free, in one of the city’s most iconic spaces.
