Richard Pryor brings his BLUES EXPLOSION to Cafe Roux on the 16th Nov.

With a Bumper Crop of Phenomenal Musicians performing live on stage, you’ll have a PHD in BluesRock faster than you can say “I woke up this Morning” In this episode The multi-talented Hugo Veldsman creates a sonic lanscape of folk & traditional Blues all the way through to Energetic Rock. His impressive songwriting, fingerpicking, slide guitar, pedal steel and vocals will keep you firmly on the edge of your seat.

As a seasoned rock vocalist, Amelia Hoffman has been expanding her reportoire to include Blues that hits hard and powerfully. She’ll be grabbing the mic with both hands on the 16th and when she sings the Blues it stays sung long after the show has ended. Joining the lineup for the 1st time is Melissa Osborne. She has an easy going but powerfully rich voice that blends many styles of music from Indie to Rock to Country.

Melissa will be rekindling her love for live performance, delivering some explosive and much loved Blues Covers that include a couple of impromptu Harmonica performances.With the Gin Wizard Engine Room of Richard Pryor, Rob Stemmett and Dillon Myburgh holding it all together, you can expect a rollercoaster ride of BluesRock Thrills & Spills. Add some Epic Collaborations, Jams, Instrumentals and a Special Guest and you got the most flavourful Blues Potjie this side of Venus.
