Music House 4PlaySA presents a Piano Trio Concert featuring three of Cape Town’s premier classical musicians.

Pianist Esthea Kruger, an award-winning soloist and lecturer at the University of Cape Town’s South African College of Music, is joined by two members of the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, Ralitza Macheva (violin) and Matthias Remley-Ender (cello). Ralitza, originally from Bulgaria, is currently the CPO’s Principle Second Violin, while Matthias is an Austrian-born cellist and has played with the CPO since 2022. The trio will be joined by renowned broadcaster John Woodland as narrator.

The Piano Trio Concert: Dreams and Fantasies comprises works by Mozart (Opus 502 Trio In Bb Major), Schumann (Fantasiestücke Opus 88) and Piazzolla (The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires) and will take place at the Welgemeend Manor House in Gardens on Sunday 9 November and Sunday 30 November. Both performances begin at 4pm.

A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Music House 4PlaySA’s charity, the Cape Town Youth Orchestra.
